2 States - The story of my marriage - Chetan Bhagat

Dear Chetan,

I happened to read your ‘2 States’.

This ‘fiction’ reminded me two things

‘Singam Aiyengaar Peran’ (Grandson of Singam Aiyengaar) – This novel is penned b by Sujata in Tamil almost 15 years ago.
Jodi (Pair) – This is a Tamil movie produced in the year 1999 that dwells on groom staying in bride’s place and vice versa to earn their acceptance.

I could not stop crying after reading

‘Forgiveness’ uttered by Guruji Pondicherry
Efforts taken by Krish’s father on Krish’s marriage and dialogues between father/son after his return to Delhi

You tried to re-create the magic what you did in the first two (deliberately I missed the third one!). But, I was little disappointed after reading this novel probably because nothing is offered new.

Yes. Your punch liners all through this piece made me to smile/laugh and made the reading enjoyable and not allowed me to keep it down. That is where your success lies!

And Tam Brahms will take everything on their stride! Be it digging or praising! You should have done it more!!

Regards,
(Mis)Chief Editor
(in your language, Tamil Brahmin!)
